Winter White Forests in Yakushima | 屋久島の冬の白い森

In the previous blog, I wrote “you can see green forests even in autumn or winter.”
以前のブログで、「秋や冬でも、緑の森を見られます」と書きました。

However, I found out the forests in Yakushima could turn to white too!
しかし、屋久島では「白い森」も見られることに気づきました！

This winter, it snowed much more than usual, and the high areas of mountains were covered with snow.
この冬は例年より多く雪が降り、山の高い部分は雪に覆われました。

And yet, if you go down to the coast, the beaches are warm enough to enjoy a comfortable walk.
それでも、海岸は心地よい散歩を楽しめるほど暖かいです。
