Winter forests in Yakushima | 屋久島の冬の森

Throughout the year, mountains are mostly covered with green trees in Yakushima.
春夏秋冬、１年を通して屋久島の山はほとんど緑に覆われています。

There are few trees that change color in autumn, so you can see green forests even in autumn or winter.
紅葉する木が少ないのか、冬でも緑の森を見ることができます。

As you probably know, some trees fade in winter. Deers do the same.
ご存じの通り、冬に色が落ちる木もあります。シカも同じです。

They change the color of their fur from bright brown to grey, as if blending into the dull winter forests.
彼らは冬の暗い森に溶け込むように、鮮やかな茶色から灰色へと毛色を変えます。
