Someone’s footprints | だれかの足跡

Rice planting season has arrived again this year.
今年も田植えの季節がやってきました。

This year too, we planted rice together with students from Yakushima Ohzora High School in the rice fields of Yakushima Senvus Village.
屋久島センバスビレッジの水田で、今年もおおぞら高校の生徒たちと一緒に田植えをしました。

It was an agricultural experience full of smiles as I felt the soft soil and cold water with our bare feet.
裸足で、柔らかい土と冷たい水の感触に触れ、笑顔あふれる農業体験になりました。

The footprints of the students can still be seen at the bottom of the paddy field, where the water has become clearer, and it seems that we can still hear their happy voices.
水が澄んだ水田の底には、生徒たちの足跡が残っており、まだ生徒たちの楽しそうな声が聞こえてくるようです。
