Rice harvest | 稲刈り
One of the tasks that take place during September at Yakushima Senvus Village is “Rice harvesting”.
「屋久島センバスビレッジ」で9月に行われる作業の一つに、「稲刈り」があります。
Every year, as one of the steps of the “Rice paddy Relay”, students of Yakushima Ohzora High School and volunteers help our staff to harvest the ancient rice by hand.
毎年、「リレー水田」 の作業の一つとして、「屋久島おおぞら高等学校」の生徒やボランティアも「古代米」の稲刈りを行います。
This year, teachers of Yakushima Ohzora High School took care of the harvesting step, so the relay continues! Thank you, teachers!
We hope the students can visit again soon to take part of the “Rice paddy Relay”. ^^
今年は、「屋久島おおぞら高等学校」の先生方が「稲刈り」の作業をしてくださったので、リレーが続きます！ 先生方、ありがとうございます！
