Maël from France enjoyed volunteering in Senvus Village｜フランスから来たマエルは、センバスビレッジでのボランティア活動を楽しみました

During my trip to Yakushima, I had the chance to spend a day in Senvus Village to participate as a volunteer.
屋久島への旅行中、私はボランティアとしてセンバスビレッジで１日を過ごす機会がありました。

I was stunned by the place and the kindness of the staff. Working in such an environment is incredible and I definitely want to come back one day !
私は、この場所と、スタッフの優しさに驚きました。このような環境で働けることは素晴らしく、いつかまた絶対にここに戻ってきたいです！！

The “Scent garden” was wonderful and it was interesting to discover other spots, like the watermill or the “Tefu Tefu House (butterfly house)”.
『香りの庭』は素晴らしく、また、水車や、『てふてふ（ちょうちょ）ハウス』など他のスポットを発見するのも面白かったです。

I enjoyed interacting with the staff and discovering a part of their life. They let me try some of the products they grow in the village such as delicious passion fruits or watermelons.
I really loved that day and I hope I will be volunteering again soon!
スタッフのみなさんと交流し、みなさんの暮らしを少し知ることができて、楽しかったです。おいしいパッションフルーツやスイカなど、センバスビレッジで育てている農産物もいただきました。
本当に楽しかったので、近いうちにまたボランティアに参加したいと思っています！！
