Homemade tea.

Japan is famous for its delicious green tea.

Volunteers can help harvesting tea plants at

Senvus Village and appreciate its special taste 

that brings one closer to the nature of the island.

Last August, one volunteer who was especially 

passionate about tea came from Norway. 

He enjoyed the homemade tea. 

Since he went back to Norway, he started making 

his own tea, that can bring him memories 

of Yakushima. It made us happy to know that.

日本は、緑茶が美味しいことで有名です。

センバスビレッジでは、お茶の収穫、味を

楽しむ事ができます。

8月、ノルウェーからお茶に興味がある

ボランティアが来ました。

お茶を楽しみしました。

彼は、屋久島を想い返せるように、

ノルウェーに帰って、急須でお茶を入れて

いるようです。

何だか心が”ほっこり”します。(・´з`・)

The other days, he sent us pictures from Norway 

and we could see that it is different from Japan, 

but also very beautiful and the water is as pure.
