Herbal magic｜ハーブの魔法

先週末に「屋久島センバスビレッジ」でイベントを開催しました。
Last weekend we held an event at “Yakushima Senvus Village”.

その時に、ハーブを使った実験も行いました。
At that time, I also conducted experiments using herbs.

「バタフライピー」というハーブをご存じですか？
Do you know the herb called butterfly pea?

とても綺麗なブルーのハーブティーで、酸性やアルカリ性の成分と混ざると赤や緑に色が変わります。
It is a very beautiful blue herbal tea, and when mixed with acidic or alkaline ingredients, the color changes to red or green.

色が変わったり、元に戻ったり。島の子どもたちと一緒に、色の変化と化学の不思議を楽しむことができました。
The color may change or return to normal. I was able to enjoy the changing colors and the wonders of chemistry with the children of Yakushima.
