Fond memories | 懐かしい思い出
Four years ago on July, we were welcoming Antonia, from Germany, and Kotryna, from Lithuania, as volunteers at Yakushima Senvus Village.
4年前の7月、ドイツのアントニアとリトアニアのコトリーナを「屋久島センバスビレッジ」にボランティアとして迎えました。
They helped us with the farm’s maintenance and translating tasks, and even got the chance to visit some famous touristic spots around the island with students of Yakushima Ohzora High School.
農園のメンテナンスや翻訳作業を手伝ってくれて、屋久島の有名な観光地を「屋久島おおぞら高等学校」の生徒たちと一緒に訪れることもできました。
Antonia also participated in a video for “Yakushima Heart TV”, where she hiked to Yakushima’s famous “Wilson’s Stump”!

While waiting to be able to welcome volunteers again, we remember everyone that has come before fondly. ^^
