There are Yaku-deers (Yakushika – ヤクシカ) in Yakushima, and the number of them are decreasing in recent years.
屋久島には、「ヤクシカ」が生息しています。そして、ヤクシカの数は近年減少傾向にあります。
Estimated population of them is 10,380 as of February 2023, and it is 2170 deers that have decreased from 1 year before.
2023年2月時点での、ヤクシカの推定生息数は10,380頭で、1年前より2170頭減少しているそうです。
